Our first trip to the dog park

Traverse City now has a dog park.  With the help of generous donations it is a reality and way over due.  Thanks to all the generous humans.

Mom says I won't survive if I only eat socks, but I say "I am corgi Princess Elizabeth and can sustain life on anything." plus corgis just have to eats socks! So she went out and got me a large bag of puppy food! "nom nom"

Today was Elle's first vet appointment

This is Dr. Izo at Companion Animal Hospital.  She is an awesome doctor and we are very fortunate to have her as our vet.  Today Elle weighed in at 5.61 pounds.  She is healthy and received another worming and the kennel cough vaccine.  It has been a busy day and she had no side effects from the medications she rec'd.  We also worked on the "sit" command for the first time.  This evening she met Stewert the labrador mix.  He is about 3 years old.  See the video below.

Terrific Thursday

A beautiful morning walk up at the State Hospital Grounds.  It was so nice to get the boys out for a good run in the woods and watch Elle as she chased after them.  She's a trooper, everytime I. picked her up to carry her she started whining to be let down.  Here is our first park bench photo with the three pups.

I have not been successful in getting the three of them to look at the camera at the same time.  It will eventually happen and Elle will be as photo savvy as the boys are.

All pooped out after our morning walk, she took a 3 hour nap.  A tired puppy is a Good puppy! Another fun day with the pups!
