Day One with the new puppy

This is the first afternoon with the new puppy.   Maxwell as the guard dog.  He has become her protector, definitely taking the big brother role seriously!  Beau doesn't know what to think of her or maybe he's thinking "not again"

One more day.............

We only have to wait one more day for this little darling to join the Blue Water Corgis.
Her name will be Elle, pronounced "L" or Ellie.  Her registered name will be Blue Water Princess Elizabeth.  She is named after Queen Elizabeth II.

Come Sail Away, come sail away come sail away with me....

Daddy is sailing on a 40' sailing vessel by the name of Relentless this weekend in the Chicago to Mackinac Race.  I wanted to go because I am such a good sailor and when they say "all hands on deck"  I am there with all four paws ready to raise sails!  I am named after the sailing vessel "Beau Geste" .  Tomorrow we will drive to Mackinac Island to pick Daddy up.

Miss No Name Yet

After much praying and contemplating I have decided to add this little darling to our pack.  She is a little sweetie and I am sure will be a welcome addition to our home.  I am very happy to finally have a girl in our midst after 4 sons and 3 male dogs.  I know having three dogs will be a little more work but I don't mind.  I love dogs.................sometimes I think more than some humans!  Wish me luck on this endeavor.

When I originally posted this it ticker said Beau is 2 years 2 months 2 weeks 2 days old, I didn't realize the ticker would keep counting up.  Oh well, love this picture of him, he is so handsome.

Ultimate Air Dog Competition

During the Cherry Festival they have an Ultimate Air Dog competition.  Our friends entered their 2 year old Golden Retriever River.  This is her first attempt and she didn't do too bad.  It was fun to watch all the dogs.  I don't think our corgis would do very well in this.  Maybe if it was vertical jumping for food!

Well I mean the dog! New Baltimore Max to be exact. Loving all the exotic scents coming out of dad's dirty clothes bag. Oh the stories he could tell by investigating this bag. The dogs sense of smell is so much greater than a humans.

Oooo that feels so good

Maxwell and Beau like it when I run my fingers through their fur.  As you can see this is a good way to get the loose stuff OUT!  I am covered in it.  At one point it looks like Beau is thinking "Is it my turn Yet!"

National Cherry Festival 2012

Tomorrow starts an eight day celebration of CHERRIES!  Traverse City, Michigan is the cherry capital of the world.  It is a week filled with parades, bands, cherry everything...................
Saturday is the air show which the dog's do not care for.  I will have to put them in a room with the fan on to drowned out the noise.  When they are in their crates they usually will sleep with out any extra anxiety.

Hello Everybody

Good Morning to all.  It's Monday back to work day.  The good thing is it is a 4 day work week.  Mama Lisa will be helping Daddy in the office this week as Maria is on vacation.  A well deserved one too,  Thank you Maria for all your hard work.  Beau and Maxwell will also be able to come to the office as long as they do not bark.  Have a great day and remember the weekend is only 4 days away!
